Due to continued success, Mick George Ltd are looking for a practical and hands on Earthworks Project Manager to join the Contracting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily management of the project, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
About the Role
•Responsibility for the coordination of activities on site, including labour, resources and plant.
•To ensure al works carried out comply with current Health & Safety and Environmental legislation, and to ensure the Mick George Ltd H&S culture is demonstrated throughout.
•Prepare and develop progress reports.
•Communicate effectively with a range of people including client, colleagues, sub- contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth running of the project.
•Manage site staff including Foreman, Plant Operators and Labourers.
•Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with the client, ensuring expectations are met or where possible, exceeded.
Key Skills and Experience
•Extensive Earthworks experience.
•Proven project management experience with the ability to present ideas and negotiate.
•Excellent people management skills.
•Good commercial awareness.
•SMSTS and CSCS Gold Card
•Full UK Driving license.
