A new exciting role for a regional Health & Safety Advisor to join a medium sized construction contractor in England. Based in the South West you will be required to cover projects in South West, South East and South Wales. |
Due to company growth this position is to expand the existing Health & safety team to provide professional advice and guidance to site based teams.
They are a specialist in their sector and are a well-established sized company. You will have previous experience as a Health & safety professional working in the construction environment, ideally in civil engineering, RC frame (reinforced concrete), formworks, facades, cladding or working at heights.
This is a real site based role and the client is seeking evidence of working successfully with a range of operational teams and hold good technical knowledge.
As this is a regional role it will require you to travel from site to site across the southern region carrying out site inspections, method statements, risk assessments, report writing, tool box talks and so on.
You must hold the NEBOSH general certificate, NEBOSH Construction, NCRQ certificate or equivalent. Ideally you will be Tech IOSH. They are committed to maximising growth potential through learning and development, continuous professional development, CPD.
Offering an excellent base salary of £35,000 plus car allowance, pension, healthcare and life assurance.
The perfect candidate will have be able to organise and prioritise their own workload, have good overall knowledge of the construction industry, adopt a coaching style of management and be able to identify a problem and create a solution.
