My client are a global leader in providing Geospatial software and services to a blue chip multi sector client base.

Due to internal promotions, we have a vacancy for a Customer Success Manager where you will work with the Internal Sales Team, contacting existing external customers to identify their business needs for GIS. The success of these customers is central to the companies growth, and your aim is to act as a trusted partners to these clients and help them get the best out of their GIS.

Examples of the activities you may be involved in are:

-Helping customers maximise the benefits of GIS, and promoting and developing its use in their organisations
-Acting as a trusted advisor, taking ownership of any potential issues and working with colleagues to resolve them for the client
-Identifying any potential opportunities with our customers to extend the use of GIS software and services
-Maintain the customer's existing spend on maintenance, enterprise license agreements, technical service agreement, and data
-Sales of professional services, training and data where these either contribute to the customer's success and support the sale of the software
-Building rapport, trust and long term relationships with relevant staff at all levels within the customer organisation

Skills Required

You will have a first class or upper second class degree in Geography, GIS or a related subject. You should also have:


-A commercial understanding of the impact of technology and a vision for how GIS can enhance the effectiveness of customer organisation
-Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
-Have strong networking and negotiating skills
-Experience of sales
-Experience of using ArcGIS software
-Have strong relationship building and negotiating skills
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think "outside of the box" when necessary
