Our client is looking to strengthen their Product team with an additional Associate Product Owner. The role will be joining a dynamic, creative and forward thinking team who will shape the future product development for the company in line with the organisational strategy.
With some prior experience as a Product Owner, you will be guided through a mentor-led, personal development plan to help you progress your career while giving you responsibility for delivering multiple iterations of one or more of our applications as part of a SCRUM team.
Understand the customer / user base and their product requirements
Work within the SCRUM teams in a cross functional environment to deliver product enhancements
Manage internal and external stakeholders with the support of your team
Define user stories and acceptance criteria
Participate in backlog refinement sessions to guide the team towards solutions that meet customer requirements
Maintain and prioritise product level backlogs
Create customer facing documents for reports and new developments
Work with other members of your team to iteratively improve working practices
Approximately 1 years' experience working as a Product Owner
Demonstrable expertise in the whole Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Excellent written communication skills with experience writing comprehensive, clear, well-structured documentation
Excellent verbal communication skills to a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to define a problem and assist in solution identification
Graduate calibre or equivalent
Experience of working within a SCRUM/Agile environment.
SCRUM Certification (SCRUM Master or Product Owner)
Communicate with an open and collaborative style and networks effectively
Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills required
Excellent interpersonal skills - able to quickly establish a rapport with external and internal delegates
A good team player - ability to liaise effectively with work colleagues and professional approach, especially when under pressure
Flexible attitude and approach to work, there is a requirement for the role to work from various locations and will require substantial travel
Ability to work unsupervised and proactively on own initiative
