An experienced ITIL Expert is required by this provider of networking managed services.
The Change Manager is a key role within the business and is accountable for defining and enforcing the organisations Change Management Strategy as well as overseeing its subsequent delivery. The Change Manager is expected to initiate, drive and implement appropriate change control and ensure the successful delivery of the stated change objectives into BAU, Project and Transition activities across the business and to its customer base.
Compile and Issue the forward schedule of change. Integrate change management activities into project plans and BAU processes. Where required liaise with all necessary parties to coordinate change building, testing and implementation. Complete change management assessments and chair all CAB and ECAB meetings
Consult and coach project and BAU support teams and authorise acceptable changes, either alone or after a CAB or ECAB has taken place. Update the change log with all progress that occurs, including any actions to correct problems.
Reviews all implemented changes to ensure that they have met their objectives, track and reports issues and failed changes, produce change summary reports and identify opportunities to improve service quality and ensure the Problem Management process is owned, correctly managed and administered by the Problem Manager and completed through effective logging, reviewing, progression and closure of records against set KPI's. You will also provide additional support to internal customers where demand requires, acting as Problem Manager as business demands
Ensure the Operational Suppliers deliver effective services as per the agreed service levels. Ensure the information pertaining to suppliers is up to date, and internal operations teams are informed of changes. Manage the Operational Supplier Manager and support the activities through the regular attendance of Service Reviews.
Ensure the Change Management Process is managed and effectively carried out for the applicable customers. Where required, increase the profile of Change NA Processes for delivering Managed Services through the implementation of Release and Deployment Management, Configuration Management and other processes as Operational Management see fit.
Work with Operations Teams for both Support and Project to deliver the applicable services from the Managed Services NA as Operations champion for the underpinning processes to deliver Managed Services within the business.
