SQL DATABASE DEVELOPER |
Salary - £25,000 to £30,000 per annum
Our client are a leading organisation in the provision of innovative data driven business solutions. For over 2 decades they have specialised in building complex data management and software products for well-known companies both nationally and globally.
Through the growth of their data management services they now require a Database Developer to support their Database Services department.
The role is to develop their bespoke products in ensuring that it meets the customer needs and requirements. Having several projects at one time the company allows you to prioritise and manage your workload whilst using your sound analytical and IT development skills to both enhance and deploy their solution.
Duties will include:
•To carry the business requirements forward through a cycle of investigation, development and testing in order to produce a functioning product
•To be aware of the potential impact of new developments through thorough product understanding and risk assessment
•Resolve day-to-day problems through operations and internal discussion
•Act on broader implications - database structure, quality of data and operations
The successful applicant will have:
•Experience of relational databases, preferably using SQL Server
•A background in IT or computer technology
•An aptitude for both efficient and accurate working
•Accomplished communication skills and an ability to converse with a variety of internal and external users both technical and non-technical
•A willingness to work independently when required and to drive forward developments
•A flexible approach to suit business requirements
