Lead Business Analyst - Swindon - 3 months - £(Apply online only) pd ltd

My client is a well recognised Financial Services organisation who has a requirement for a Lead BA to join them on an initial 3 months contract. The role is based out of Swindon and offers a competitive daily rate to the successful candidate. Please note, due to the nature of my client, successful candidates will need to undergo Financial and Criminality checks prior to proceeding on site.

Ultimately, you will lead a team of BA's and be accountable for the production of a complete set of analysis deliverables in respect of each project assignment.


+ Lead the project analysis team
+ Accountable for multi-functional practice deliverables including all business, technical and non functional requirements
+ Ensure production of analysis practice deliverables to practice defined quality standards, in accordance with objectives
+ Plan and control the approach, resourcing, elicitation, analysis, specification, validation and requirements management
+ Engages key stakeholders early and throughout the entire project lifecycle from project start to project closure
+ Resolve requirement conflict
+ Responsible for management of risk in respect of analysis deliverables
+ Contributes to the continuous improvement of the Practice
+ Set SMART performance objectives in line with Group Development Objectives

Typically, the Lead BA will be assigned to 1 large project o 2-4 smaller projects within a programme. You will also have operational responsibility for a minimum of 15 Analysts. The scale of concurrent projects is typically in excess of £5 million spend and you will be line managing up to 6 Analysts.


+ Proven background in line managing a team of Analysts
+ Exposure in signing off quality control for allocated projects
+ Have a combination of business and technical knowledge
+ Demonstrable track record of delivery as a Lead Analyst on cross-functional projects - ideally, within Financial Services
+ Skilled in defining validation and verification strategies to support the continuous assessment
+ Able to accommodate the differing needs of multi-disciplined teams - internal and external resources
+ Strong understanding of business processes and how technology supports the business
+ Familiarity with project management, structures and working practices
