Business Development Manager IP Intercoms & Access Control Distribution - UK Role Essential experience knowledge of IP Intercoms & Access Control

Basic Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 dependent on experience OTE £50,000 uncapped + Car allowance Laptop & Mobile Phone

Candidates residing in the following locations would be ideally situated: Birmingham, Liverpool, London, Nottingham, Manchester, Wales, Southampton, Reading.

Due to our success we are excited to be recruiting for a new addition to our UK Sales team in the form of a Business Development Manager
As our new Business Development Manager you will identify and develop new and existing accounts for the sales and distribution of an I.P. based audio, intercom, telecoms and access control technology product portfolio
Identify and develop specification and project opportunities to achieve agreed revenue and profitability targets
Provide product, specification and system design support and consultation to integrators, M&E contractors, network contractors, architects, consultants and end clients
Develop and execute product, account and project plans to achieve or exceed agreed targets
Follow-up marketing leads in response to campaigns & activities in the required timescales
Collate and report sales and marketing intelligence relevant to strategically targeted markets

Proven sales / specification track record
Sales territory management
Ability to break into and develop new key accounts
Strong relationship management skills
Proven technical knowledge and experience preferably in I.P. based system sales and/or specification/integration
Ability to build and close your own sales pipeline
Understanding the buying and decision making processes
Confident specification & proposal writing and presentation skills
Extremely strong communication skills including the ability to take the lead in responding to client invitations to tender
Understanding of contracts and the commercial aspects of managing client relationships

Essential experience knowledge of IP Intercoms & Access Control
I.P. & Analogue Door Intercom
I.P. & Analogue Access Control
I.P. & Analogue Public Address Systems
I.P. Integration with VMS & Home Automation Systems
