Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - mainly nights|
Our client a leader in the fresh produce industry (FMCG), who pride themselves on, quality, performance and reliability are now seeking a passionate Multi-skilled Maintenance/Process Engineer to join their existing team.
You be responsible for preventative and real-time maintenance to ensure the smooth
running of the product lines to meet high quality and production targets.
Key Results Area: Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
PERFORMANCE: The Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer will assist the Engineering Supervisor in assessing maintenance and equipment performance to develop a predictive and proactive short term plan in order to improve production and reduce costs.
REPAIRS: Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer will ensure the high installation and repairs are carried out to a high standard; this will prevent reoccurring faults/downtime.
STOCK AVAILABILITY: The Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer will ensure 100% daily/weekly accountability for the booking in/out of parts/stock as per our current procedures.
DOWNTIME: The Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer will ensure that any significant downtime on machines is logged with the Engineering Manager for continuous improvement purposes.
FACTORY SUPPORT: The Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer will support the production teams in reviewing operating standards, line speeds, quality, yields and work with the operations and production teams to identify improvement opportunities.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: The Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer will ensure a strong working relationship is maintained with all colleagues within the production team.
SKILL ATTRIBUTES: To develop a full understanding of all machines within our business to ensure speedy proactive maintenance at all times.
HEALTH & SAFETY: Needs to be familiar with Health & Safety Regulations
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a process/ maintenance engineer within a production/ manufacturing environment, have knowledge of machinery, automation and fault finding and be qualified to HNC/NVQ level 3 ideally
Our client is a seven day a week operation. This role will work 42.5 hours per week on a flexible shift pattern. However, it may be necessary to work outside these hours to meet the demands of the business.
The two main shifts are (Apply online only) or (Apply online only).
The current shifts are Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday (days)
Sunday - Thursday (nights)
You will need to be flexible and be able to work days and nights.
