Electrical Engineering Manager
Locations: - Dartford
Contract Length: - Temp to Perm
Salary: - £40,000 to £45,000 (dependant on experience)

An Electrical Engineering Manager is required to work on our Planned Maintenance Projects involving hard services. You will be working for Carillion Services managing technical staffs and suppliers. We are looking for a technical manager with a strong M+E background (Electrical Biased) with experience in managing statutory compliance within a team at the Darent Valley Hospital.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
*Ensure all services are maintained safely and audited to the highest quality standards in accordance with CIS engineering standards, industry best practice and contract specific requirements and within budget constraints.
*Ensure that all agreed key performance indicators relating to the contract are achieved and maintained and minimise potential losses from performance deductions.
*Ensure that all non KPI reactive maintenance tasks are responded to in line with the contract specification and works are carried out to a good standard
*Management of the planned maintenance, reactive jobs, follow-on jobs and statutory inspection management. Responsibility for comprehensive and accurate record keeping.
*Management and responsibility for delivering maintenance to mechanical and electrical services, plant and equipment, building fabric and grounds as required by the FM contract.
*Be responsible for the management, safety, supervision and motivation of the maintenance team ensuring quality and performance standards are achieved.
*Manage and audit the specialist maintenance contracts to ensure quality and standards are achieved. Ensure that best value is obtained and that all assets are adequately maintained to provide maximum service life.
*Ability to fault find and trouble shoot on site engineering and building services to at least first line response level.
*Ensure compliance with all legal and statutory requirements, incorporating Carillion Integrated Services Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental policies.
*Assist in specification, procurement, costing and project management of minor capital projects and replacement works through variations.
*To undertake any other duties commensurate with the responsibility of the post.
You must have a degree or higher national diploma in Electrical engineering discipline. A background in Facilities management would be desirable, as well as excellent Health & Safety management experience, preferably holding NEBOSH or IOSH qualification.
