An opportunity to work with a multinational electrical organisation as a Controls Software Engineer has become available in the Staffordshire area. This company is currently going through a large amount of growth and investment with this particular role being in their fastest growing department.
The position is based within the controls department working alongside software, hardware, validation and verification, systems design and platform development. The role is to develop world leading control and protection systems by defining architecture, developing models and supporting software development.
As a Controls Software Engineer you'll be responsible for the developing control systems as part of a multi-discipline team. You'll be developing software modules in Matlab/Simulink through model based design techniques and seeing projects through the software development life-cycle.
Requirements for Controls Software Engineer:
> Degree educated (or equivalent) in a Software Engineering related subject
> Understanding of the software development life-cycle and project delivery process
> Model based design experience in Matlab/Simulink
Desirables for Controls Software Engineer:
> Experience developing RTOS based Embedded Software (Embedded C, VxWorks, Linux, QNX)
