General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Software Integrator Analyst to join our Missile Defense National Team (MDNT). The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to build and further advance General Dynamics Mission Systems software systems and applications. Key Responsibilities

Software Integrator Analysts will report to the development software integration lead. The candidate will be responsible for developing software test plans/procedures for the conduct of software integration testing prior to delivery to Integration and Test (I&T), performing development test integration/execution, detailed data analysis, and preparation of software test reports, as well as working with software developers and system engineers to understand the capabilities/operation of C2BMC applications to support identification and troubleshooting of potential problems found during software integration. Candidates must also oversee the integration of the development test resources, execute these detailed test procedures, analyze test results, and present the test results both orally and in written format.

  • Support and engage in programs, projects and practices behind the General Dynamics Mission Systems culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures.

  • Follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure General Dynamics Mission Systems services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices.

Occasional travel will be required for this position including support to installation and checkout at customer sites (including OCONUS)

Candidates must show a passion for innovation, a sophisticated understanding of software systems and applications, and the ability to effectively manage, grow and evolve General Dynamics Mission Systems software solutions.

The Software Integrator Analyst position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Science, Engineering, or Software Engineering or equivalent experience and at least nine years of related experience; or master's degree and six to eight years of related experience.

Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is REQUIRED at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

The ideal candidate must have the following:

  • Hands on experience with DoD software integration methodologies and associated test tools

  • Hands on Software Product Integration experience with complex DoD systems

  • Experience integrating complex applications on Windows and Unix/Linux platforms

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word)

  • Must be able to independently and cooperatively develop software test plans/procedures from sources such as functional/performance requirements and stated technical capabilities

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work effectively and cooperatively with people within and external to the program

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

  • Must have proven system troubleshooting skills
