General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Integrated Logistics Support Lead to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.

The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to design, develop and manage a variety of equipment and systems solutions for General Dynamics Mission Systems and its clients. Key Responsibilities

Senior Advanced Logistics Engineers develops and administers integrated logistics strategies, provides logistic support to field organizations and/or customers, including spare or replacement parts and supplies, and ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to maximize sales and profit for company and customer. Additionally, Integrated Logistics Support Leads ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes. The Integrated Logistics Support Lead is expected to manage the complete Integrated Logistics Support approach for NAVAL Electronic Systems to include:

  1. Logistics Management Information (LMI)

  2. Logistics Plans and Schedule Development

  3. Training development and delivery

  4. Interactive Electronic Tech Manual Development in S1000D and MIL 24784C

  5. Reliability and maintainability Analysis (RMA) Development

  6. Provisioning and Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) Development

Additional Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a complete Integrated Logistics Support program for lifecycle supportability.

  • Provide the logistics program management and customer interfaces to ensure the success of all GDMS developed technologies.

  • Serve as the IPT lead for logistics and interact with other engineering IPTs.

  • Develop and manage working assignments and schedules for all development activities.

  • Design and oversee all phases of ILS development and delivery for:

    • Training Products – Curriculum, Instruction, Computer Based Training, and Web Based Training Programs

    • Technical Documentation – Interactive Electronic Tech Manuals, RCM, and

    • R/M – Develop system level FEMA and FMECA as well as associated lifecycle reliability models

    • Provisioning – Perform complex assessments on provisioning requirements, develop the Provisioning Technical Data and Provisioning Parts List using the Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS). The ability and understanding of RBS planning for optimal sparing to meet operational availability

  • Supports customer demonstrations, working meetings and presentations.

  • Exercise creative thinking and ideation to advance our business performance.

  • Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customers' changing business needs.

  • Support and engage in programs, projects and practices behind the General Dynamics Mission Systems culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures.

  • Follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure General Dynamics Mission Systems services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices.

Candidates should demonstrate sophisticated problem solving skills, as well as an ability to design, develop and implement innovative General Dynamics Mission Systems business solutions. Senior Advanced Logistics Engineers must have a minimum of eight to ten years of ILS experience and 2-5 years experience of ILS Management for DoD based Logistic Programs.

Department of Defense SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
