We are currently seeking an experienced Hydrogeologist with ideally 3-6 years' experience to work in our Brisbane office. As a member of our strong and dynamic groundwater group you will have an excellent opportunity to further your professional career in a leading global consultancy.

This role will suit a water resources professional with sound analytical skills and mining experience, coupled with a solid background in field-work and a willingness to work in project locations across Australia.

Our ideal candidate will possess:
  • Bachelors Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science or Engineering. Post-Graduate studies in Hydrogeology would be advantageous;
  • Solid analytical skills with experience in undertaking desktop investigations, data management, analysis and calculations;
  • Experience in undertaking fieldwork activities involving the supervision of drilling and bore completion, hydrogeological testing, data collection and water quality sampling;
  • Understanding of environmental planning and policy implementation, environmental regulation, surface water and groundwater connectivity, impact assessment investigations, groundwater/aquifer conceptualisation, aquifer sustainability assessments and management;
  • Some exposure to project management and delivery, and a desire to develop experience in managing client relationships and expectations;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office packages (particularly Excel), Aqtesolv, AquaChem and Surfer. Knowledge of ArcGIS, ESdat and groundwater modelling software is highly desirable.
  • Strong communications skills (both written and verbal).
