NTT DATA currently seeks a Sr. Information Management & Analytics Architect (Big Data/AWS) to join our team in Wilmington, DE .

Position Functions or Responsibilities: Candidate will assist with data architecture, migration, and development of new processes flows on the Cloudera/AWS stack. Candidate must have a strong background and deep understanding of the Hadoop stack and deploying on AWS

Sr. Information Management & Analytics Architect is required to have:
  • 7+ years of strong experience understanding and hands-on technical expertise of building ETL/data integration flows, and services layers, data warehousing projects
  • 5+ years of product development or technology consulting experience leading large projects for Information delivery, Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions
  • 5+ years of experience working with and documenting various Data Integration design patterns with traditional data warehousing and on cloud-based (AWS) solutions, with the ability to recommend architecture based on given use cases
  • 3+ years of experience implementing data ecosystems integration flows to/from Hadoop / Impala data ecosystem and incorporating data feeds from third-party analytics solutions
  • 3+ years of strong understanding in (several of these): Hive, Impala (Parquet), Oozie, Zookeeper, Spark/Flink, SAS, Informatica, Snaplogic
  • 3+ years of strong experience working with several AWS deployment while implementing solutions with EC2, Redshift, S3, EMR, IAM, Lambda, SQS, etc
  • Experience working on projects for Healthcare (Life Sciences is desired) organizations with understanding of architectural considerations for PHI/HIPAA compliance
  • Experience leading large data ecosystem implementations in Agile environments
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, especially the ability to communicate technical issues to a non-tech audience;
  • Critical thinking and intellectual curiosity
  • Superior learning abilities
  • Wiling to travel (75%)/relocate to Wilmington, DE

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience implementing Data Lakes
  • Experience with Netezza/similar architectures and their migration to Hadoop stack
  • Experience with Snaplogic is highly preferred
  • Experience with DevOps (on AWS) is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques

  • Lead large data integration engagements, with a team of project managers, engineers and analysts, providing technical and architecture oversight
  • Serve as the main technical point of contact for
  • Architect solutions with the Hadoop stack that cater to business needs while designing an IT solution that is flexible/nimble, maintainable with fixed resources, and scalable without large efforts
  • Develop large scale data architecture with data sources that include, legacy systems, cloud-hosted applications, traditional file exchange, API integration
  • Develop (hands-on) and architect data integration solutions hosted on AWS
  • Develop implementation roadmap for iterative data ecosystem maturity while documenting clear business goals/case for the chosen prioritization
  • Document Best Practices and implementation plans for Data Integration, Architecture and Information Management using AWS
  • Oversee Administration of the AWS environment to identify architectural optimizations and efficiency gains

Basic Qualifications: Experience:
  • 3 years Hadoop/Impala data ecosystems
  • 5 years AWS
  • 3 years Hive
  • 3 years SAS
