Commercial Manager/Senior Commercial Manager
Must have customer facing experience experience and experience negotiating commercial contracts

As a Senior Commercial Manager your contract experience, commercial acumen and win-win negotiating skills will shape the future of our business.
This role is about driving and securing the growth of our solutions and services in emerging and mature markets whilst working with exceptional engineers on immensely interesting projects.

Key responsibilities

Lead the commercial and contract negotiation of key programmes in the £millions

Develop robust, high quality proposals and draft contracts that ensure Thales are maintained as a supplier of choice to our customers

Effectively collaborate with various functions throughout the project lifecycle

Establish and maintain professional and successful long-lasting relationships with Thales's customers, contract representatives and counterparts

Successfully lead, manager and develop a team of commercial and contract staff.

Desired qualifications and experience

A passion for the effective management of the end-to-end contract lifecycle

A talent for managing, leading and coaching high calibre teams

An expert eye for all things compliance related, from compliance with Thales policy and procedures, to commercial management of trade compliance

Proven experience gained within a relevant market or industry, i.e. Aerospace, aviation, defence, Telco, software, IT, engineering, technology etc.

A passion for the effective management of the contract lifecycle

Tenacity to draft and negotiate complex contracts and agreements through to a successful conclusion.
