About the Business Line
We provide professional services in areas such as aviation, transit, freight rail, highways and bridges, planning, and ports and marine. Our global network of top-tier specialists delivers comprehensive services over the full life cycle of a project to benefit clients in government and private industries.

Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Director of Special Projects for immediate employment for the Seattle, WA office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
  • Develop a safety culture and lead by example
  • Client account management w/ a focus on the high tech sector
  • Manage large programs or projects to successful completion as measured by profitability, client satisfaction and quality specifications
  • Negotiate service orders including contractual terms and compensation schedules
  • Resolve service delivery issues and claims resolution
  • Staff management and development of organizational structure and efficiencies
  • Profitably manage a consulting engineering practice and manage construction projects

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10 years' experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing large projects or programs
  • Experience in the design and management of public infra-structure projects
  • Well-developed client management skills
  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree (mechanical engineering preferred)
