Position: Account Manager Location: Central London Basic salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Company My client is a specialist at building the profile and profit of clients in the media, advertising, ad tech and digital sectors. They do this by shaping and sharing content, whether using clients' existing material or creating it from scratch, they reach and engage key influencers through Online, Offline and Eyeline channels to produce measurable business outcomes. They are now looking for an Account Manager to join their team. Working closely with the Account Director and Account Executive, you will be responsible for planning, organising and managing day-to-day work on a group of accounts; maintaining frequent contact with clients to ensure client satisfaction, consistently delivering work to a client ready standard; and the creation and sharing of content in fulfillment of the client objectives. Key Responsibilities of the Account Manager:Planning, organising and managing day-to-day work on a group of NA the strategic objectives for each account, and keeping up to date with all external and internal issues that may impact on those NA of exemplary client service for your NA a consistent and timely workflow, meeting all relevant NA of clients via social networking, relevant websites and physical networking NA writing and editing to quality NA and developing strong relationships with client personnel (specific personnel on each account to be agreed with your Account Director).Assisting with new business pitches and activities as NA and maintaining strong relationships with key NA abreast of market trends, client needs and competitive NA initiative in identifying new opportunities and ideas, working in consultation with account director. Key Skills for Account Manager:Be well versed in PR techniques: media relations, event management etc and be skilled in applying NA skills, including press releases, features, contact and other client NA management skillsKnowledge of how to conduct desk research Ability to work in a teamAbility to identify priorities and manage own time NA skills (producing documents, e-mail, use of Excel spreadsheets, Internet search etc.)Understanding of how the different communications disciplines (advertising, direct marketing, public relations) work, and how their roles relate in a communications NA to work under pressureEager to learn and take responsibility
