The Role Avoka is looking to add a Senior Pre-Sales Consultant to join the Sales team in the UK. We are looking for an energetic and personable individual with experience working in pre-sales in a software business to join a busy and expanding team to provide pre-sales demonstrations and ongoing client support. The role would provide pre-sales assistance to our sales team targeting Banks, Insurers, Health Care, Education, Government and many other industries. The candidate is also required to work closely with other team members such as client services, group technology and product management. Key responsibilitiesSpeaking to partners/customers/prospects to understand and clarify their business NA with the sales team to prepare and present system demonstrations to new NA up with product training to maintain "hands on" product knowledge to help clients automate their NA up with changes in the industry, competitor products and customer requirements for new product NA the ability to represent Avoka as our regional expert on product advantages, functionality use cases, business cases, and success NA knowledge of client pain points and envisioned solution requirements by leading focused questioning- listening-validating interactions in a product demonstration NA demonstrate our software solutions and show how we utilise our technology to deliver against key value themes in our target client NA with the Support team and Product Management by providing market feedback on current products and contributing input around new NA productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities and sharing domain NA accurate and timely management information, to include - activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts, KPI's, deal won/lost NA and produce compelling sales proposals/commercial and technical documentation outlining the cost savings and other business benefits to clients of using Avoka's proposed NA with the implementation / project delivery team, articulating customer requirements so as to ensure smooth transition from Sale to NA competitor activity and identify Avoka products deficiencies vs NA as required at industry relevant events. The successful candidateA bachelor's degreeAt least 8 years of recent experience working in a pre-sales role for a software provider of solutions to the financial industryDemonstrable success in a comparable roleExperience providing product/software demonstrations in person or over the webComfortable visiting client sites and presenting to small or large groupsExcellent client relations skills are very important.
