Job Description:

Seeking Technical Sales Professionals, Operations/Production personnel, Paper Superintendents, Pulp & Paper Process Engineers, Technical Service, or with Engineering or Industrial backgrounds for Sales Account Management and Service efforts in Central Alberta. Knowledge of water treatment, specialty chemical applications, wet-end chemistry, and/or capital equipment systems is preferred and would have the desire to be in sales/service career within the Paper industry. Although prior sales experience is a plus, it is not required. Our client is a global specialty chemical supplier to the Paper Industry and offers the best technical training and professional development available in the industry. This position will call on paper mills in Central Alberta including locations near White Court and Edmonton. QUALIFICATIONS include: B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Pulp and Paper Science, or other related technical degree. 5+ years' experience in Production/Operations, Process Engineering, Production Engineering or some other Technical Service/Support role. Experience with or exposure to papermaking, pulp production, wet end chemistry, specialty chemicals and recycled paperboard. Linerboard, tissue/towel, newsprint, or various other grades of paper/board is a plus, but not required. Technical expertise with boilers, chillers, cooling towers, specialty chemicals, filtration, and/or filtration is a plus, but not required. Prior experience selling products/services directly to industrial clients is a plus, but not required. Strong mechanical aptitude and process problem solving skills. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships. Entrepreneurial drive and passion to succeed. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Valid driver's license with good driving NA client is profitable, supports promotion from within and offers a wide range of career options on a global basis.
