As a result of their constant drive for evolvement, our client now seeks a hungry, passionate and consultative Business Development Manager/Sales Executive to drive new business throughout the South, focusing on developing relationships with both existing and new clients.
The Role: Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager - Specification, you will have responsibility for proactively generating commercial project opportunities and developing relationships with Consultants and Main Contractors. You'll be responsible for generating specifications, securing new business with key stake holders, completing site surveys and meetings, and following projects through to completion. The role is new business focused. As part of the Specification team, you will provide a complete solution from design, supply and installation on both residential and commercial projects.
Core skills and background include:
• A confident and driven client facing technical sales professional
• Experience of building lasting partnerships with Consultants and Contractors
• Able to identify new specification opportunities
• Efficient diary management capabilities
• Competent and credible presenter - completion of CPD presentations an advantage
• Able to forge relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• An understanding of construction methods and a relation to major building projects an advantage
