£25,000 -29,000, plus quarterly bonus and benefits
My client has an excellent opportunity for a confident individual who wants to have a varied role in the core operations of their business.
My client is a leading supplier of bespoke made timber windows and doors to period properties. They operate in the London area and are very focused on the quality, high end of their market. Their windows are made to specification in a variety of styles and create interesting living and entertaining spaces. They have a strong ethos of excellence in their business and "being the best", as its a niche industry this is very important.
I am recruiting an Operations Executive to join their busy team. The role is varied, you would be working within the operations team planning, executing and reviewing installations with respect to resources, materials, timing and quality of finish. Their clients expect a high standard of finish, and as an operations executive you would be making sure this happens in a professional and efficient manner, minimising "aftercare" and safeguarding the company's reputation and profitability.
•Regular site visits to check progress, interacting with clients and installers
•"Sign-off" every installation with the client; problem-solving, highlighting manufacturing quality control issues and obtaining general feedback
•Harnessing the skills and expertise of our 'Senior Installers' for your own development
•Assisting with scheduling and allocating the necessary resource for varied installation types and durations
•Implementing a training programme for junior installers and for those with aspirations to become 'Senior Installers'
•Working closely with Operations Director an current Operations Executive to deliver our short-term and long-term goals
•Supervising weekly warehouse delivery and general warehouse management; orders being easily accessible, cleanliness, regular skip changes and encouraging teams to be more efficient in this area
•Managing our stock of ancillary materials efficiently
•Liaising with the 'Design Manager' on technical issues and for product expertise
•Contribute to product, service & business development
•High level of verbal and written communication skills
•Strong observation skills - "eye for detail"
•Experience in the construction industry
•Strong self-motivation and ambition
•Good commercial awareness
•Ability to work effectively alone
•PC literacy - knowledge and experience of MS Office suite
•Full UK driving license
•Bachelors degree in a construction or management course discipline
•Direct experience in working within the fenestration industry
