Assistant / Deputy Site Manager - Construction projects.|
Farnborough (for the next 12 months and then other UK and overseas sites)
Circa £24 to £30K (depending on experience)
Data centres are complex, mission critical facilities that form the backbone of the digital landscape. My clients have developed a game-changing approach to data centre infrastructure and are experiencing rapid growth and worldwide interest in their product.
Their product is modular in construction with 90% of the build program being factory based. The last 10% is where the site team takes control e.g. health and safety, site management, planning and cost control at sites throughout the UK and in some instances overseas.
The company are looking for a proactive, versatile person who has construction management qualifications and may already have gained site management experience although full "mentor" training will be provided - does this sound like you?
We believe this role could suit:
• An established building or construction site manager of small projects who is disillusioned with the industry and is looking to diversify into a more secure (and exciting) industry.
• A recently qualified person with in construction, building or civil engineering and has some site experience gained under training and is now is looking for their first opportunity.
In either case we are looking for an energetic individual with a tenacious attitude, combined with attention to detail to cover areas such as Health and Safety, programming/planning and of course site and cost control.
This project is based at Farnborough with the company's headquarters in Gloucestershire. The company are looking for a long term, permanent employee who is prepared to work in Farnborough for the immediate future and then on other sites around the UK/World or in Gloucestershire when between projects.
If you are interested in this opportunity, and I hope you are, please send your current CV and salary details to Colin quoting reference number cs912778
