IT Asset & Procurement Administrator - £28-30k - Hatfield

A market leading Infrastructure Services organisation is searching for an IT Asset and Procurement Administrator to carry out administrative duties within the IT procurement, and inventory management functions. Ideal candidates will have a background using ITSM solutions for ticket calling, excellent customer service and call handling skills.

Key responsibilities

* Using our IT Procurement system to place orders which provide central point for ordering all hardware and software requirements
* IT Asset and configuration - Ensure all moves, additions and deletions related to assets are updated in the CMDB
* Liaise with suppliers to manage stock control processes and stock replenishment services ensuring stock levels are maintained as per planned business volumes
* Following up outstanding IT Procurement call tickets and
* Software and licences compliance - responsible for tracking and control of software licenses, ensuring the company has sufficient licenses for installed software and future demand
* Responsible for improving customer satisfaction by managing all requests in a timely fashion escalating issues where required
* Answer questions and assist customers in selecting the right services
* Management of the safe disposal of IT physical assets through approved suppliers
* Receipting incoming goods on our systems for cross charging departments for items

Key skills and qualifications

* Confident interactions with a wide group of users from senior executives, managers, engineers, wholesale, retail and corporate staff
* Familiar with using procurement applications to raise orders and receipt incoming goods
* Ability to maintain/managing good supplier relationships
* Superb attention to detail is essential for this role
* Familiar with using ITSM solution for call ticket management
* Excellent customer service and call handling skills
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
* Ability to prioritise own workload
* Competent user of MS Office, Citrix, web browsers and print solutions
* Competent user of Active Directory for end user administration
* Familiar with managing IT Assets within ITIL processes
* ITIL foundation qualification nice to have but not essential
