MANDARIN SPEAKING UK Research Centre Team Assistant (based in Cambridge)

* Salary from £18,200 p.a.
* Team Assistant with Mandarin Language Skills
* Full time position 9:00-17:30/ Mon-Fri ( 1 hour lunch break )
* Pension eligibility after 3 months
* 20 day annual leave + 8 bank holidays
* Working in Cambridge UK

1 Administrative and Office Management

* Pick-up and maintenance of administrative office supplies
* Printing out of business cards
* Management of department documents and circulars
* Editing and printing out of emails, documents and publicity materials
* Assistance by organizing big department events
* Planning and organization of team-building activities
* Reception of internal and external guests: Making schedules, reservation of hotel and taxi, preparation of meeting room and refreshments
* Reservation of often visited restaurants
* Undertaking a variety of other administrative and organizational tasks relating to the current needs within ERC

B. Assistance by travel and reimbursement management

* Fill out business travel request
* Train tickets reservation
* Flight tickets reservation, change and cancelation
* Hotel reservation (pay attention to the billing address)
* Taxi reservation
* Online check-in beforehand
* Invoices for BT collection and SSE reimbursement
* Assistance by applying for passport, visa and invitation letter

C. Meeting Arrangement and Assistance

* Voice meeting reservation and management
* Convergent meeting reservation and management
* Internal meeting room reservation
* Send out meeting notice and organization of meeting
* Collecting meeting material
* Sorting and publishing of meeting minutes
* Appointment management (Email and calendar management)

D. Basic Business Assistance

* Assistance of project management in department
* Translation and preparation of (financial) data for report in HQ (Chinese to English)
* Collection and edit of department monthly report
* Preview and check of e-flows
* Internal and external contact with HQ, research institutes and customers

The successful candidate:

* University degree in Business or other relevant subject with major in Management or specialized qualification in Administrative , Management, Human Resources, Project Management, etc.
* Able to interact with all levels within the company and represent the company professionally towards externals
* Fluency in both Chinese & English (written and spoken)
* Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Team spirit, openness for an international environment and Chinese business culture
* Hands-on and can-do attitude
* Well-organized and structured working style
