An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading ICT business who are looking to hire a Senior Networking Solution Sales Manager EMEA to join their team in Reading, Berkshire

This role sits within a fast growing and international team consisting of top-notch senior pre-sales experts. You will be responsible for delivering on the company's strategy and the adaptation of their leading-edge cloud and PaaS solutions within their tier-one telecom operators and enterprise accounts within the EMEA region. You will lead the technical & commercial engagements with our CXO level customer counterparts, delivering business values through technical expertise and strategic guidance.

Main responsibilities will include;
* Drive Data Centre networking and SDN/NFV solution selling through expert consultative support on the company's full portfolio of network products and services
* Support mid-size to large Cloud, Data Centre and SDN/NFV related projects and engaging with customers by sharing networking related solutions, strategy and future directions
* Interactive engage and partner with customers, understand their requirements, offer optimum solutions, provide detailed presentations to mid-level and C-level customers
* Brand ambassador evangelizing the company's ICT vision and articulating the advantages of networking, SDN/NFV solutions and services
* Support the company's network and SDN/NFV Marketing and Branding activities (CXO visits, seminars, workshops, and forums), promote the ICT brand and develop new opportunities
* Work pragmatically with partners and customer according to customers' vendor preferences while, in parallel, build the company's share of wallet within an account
* Understand client's internal management alliances and shape client thinking on technology direction
* Acquire customer, market and competitive information on daily basis in order to influence HQ to make the right and timely decisions for networking product and solution planning

For this role, we expect the candidate to have deep understanding of data centre networking architectures both legacy and evolving SDN based multi-tenant data centre networking architectures, extensive exposure to Data Centre networking design and architectures for not only tier 1 operators but large and medium size enterprise accounts.

* More than 10 years of direct Sales Engagement/Sales Engineering/Presales/Solution Architect experience in the ICT Transformation and Cloud Monetization with a proven track record within a well-known international vendor or Tier 1 operator
* Extensive experience in one or several of the following areas:

o Mobile core network
o IP broadband
o Data Centre Network
o IT Cloud Network
o Network Management

* Excellent knowledge of the networking and the future trends
* Ability to communicate complex technical contents plainly and simply
* Strong consulting & Pre-Sales skills, flexibility and resourcefulness
* Actively engaging in SDN and NFV and related OpenSource initiatives such as OpenStack, OpenDaylight, Open vSwitch, VXLAN, etc
* Analytical problem solving: ability to use systematic approaches, knowledge of tools (Customer Value Interviewing, Portfolio Analysis)
* Strength and experience in developing and delivering customer solutions in network industry
* Creativity: Ability to generate unique and novel solutions to meet customer needs
* Decisiveness: Ability to make the right decisions quickly on available information and take action
* Strong presentation and negotiation skills
* Leadership: Ability to influence or persuade the opinions of others in a desired direction
* Ability to build strong relationships with senior executives at client firms, industry leaders and partners throughout the value chain
* Frequent travel up to 50% is expected.
* Experience in working with various regional sales teams. Must be able to adapt to various regional's business culture easily
