Our client is looking for a Service Transition Manager to monitor and support the efficient progress of all software releases arising within their business from software development and support projects, data projects, systems maintenance and upgrades. The role will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the efficient progress of all configuration and architecture changes to Live or non-Live Production Services implemented including risk management of the change lifecycles. You will monitor and support the transition of operational activities being derived from product development and infrastructure projects whilst supporting and covering Release and Service Transition Manager. You also support underlying product/service issues causing instability or performance issues with their portfolio. For this role it would be advantageous to have an IT degree or ITIL v3 qualification. You will have experience in managing support processes for technical problems with sound experience in managing complex and frequent software development release lifecycles. You must be technically proficient and able to develop technical and business staff to deliver enhanced results.
