Test Analyst - £30-35k |
Location - Norwich
A local business, with a national client base have an immediate opportunity for a Test analyst with experience working on the full testing lifecycle, from strategy, to plan, execution and documentation.
Working closely with a team of developers, Business analysts, project managers and business stakeholders, this role represents an opportunity to build a test function from a completely blank page. The business have Quality centre and JIRA available, and are looking to eventually bring in an automated test tool for the right person. You will have experience along the full test cycle, working within an agile environment, across web based systems.
Working closely with the software development and project teams, the position is responsible for testing a greenfield project. The role will also include the following: current and legacy systems, web and mobile applications, websites, and the integration of systems and products.
The ideal candidate will be a creative, hands on manual tester, able to think outside of the box, and work with a relative degree of autonomy. As a new function, you will be comfortable being the single point of contact, and able to design, plan and execute test procedures, and proactively contribute to the project and development teams. Experience writing test plans and procedures is essential, as is working within an agile based team.
