MWH, now part of Stantec, is a key player in the region with our strong links to Hastings District Council. Our strategy is to strengthen our transport presence across the Hawkes' Bay and Gisborne regions. Our Hastings Transportation team has been going from strength to strength and due to that growth we want to take on a trainee RAMM/Data technician to assist our GIS Analyst with maintenance and updates to the RAMM database. You'll be involved in data collection and interpretation where appropriate as well as pulling information together for reports.

You may be coming to the end of year 12 or 13 at school and wondering what to do next or found your first job is not giving you what you want? This could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.

As well as a minimum of 48 Level 2 NCEA credits including Maths and a Science related subject, you will preferably have gained skills in SQL, VBA or JavaScript. You'll have sound computer literacy, especially with databases and spreadsheets. You understand new concepts quickly and know how to put your knowledge to effective use. Your written and oral communication is to a good standard and you'll have an interest in finding out what goes on in a consultancy.
