The business line, of which Waste and Resources is an important part, is among the most vital pillars of our organization. The circular economy is the source of our inspiration. Waste and resources are our business. Will waste always be around? It is hard to say. Slowly but surely, we are discovering that the necessity for a waste-free society continues to grow. For that reason, we are taking steps to further reduce the amount of waste, as well as increasingly promoting the reuse of materials. These are small steps on the path towards a circular economy. We at MWH can help others take those steps as well, whether large or small. |
MWH has years of experience in advising municipalities and businesses on the collection and sorting of waste and litter, in all facets of the task: strategy, policy, research, implementation and monitoring. For many government bodies, waste is a matter of 'business as usual'; yet it tends to be the subject of particular management and policy attention whenever investment is called for. These investments nearly always involve a public tender. That makes these projects an ideal starting point for demonstrating to municipal authorities, the public and the business community that it is possible to do things smarter, more sustainably and - in most cases - at a lower cost.
Waste and Resources employs over 30 consultants, who are divided between our offices in Delft and Arnhem. In addition to Waste and Resources, we also contribute to projects in the areas of permitting, oversight and enforcement, environmental protection and safety.
What are you going to do?
Together with a team of colleagues, you will help government authorities and businesses meet their challenges with regard to waste management. You have an affinity with the concepts of a circular economy and are ambitious when it comes to bridging the gap between everyday reality and short-term goals. You can offer advice on waste, litter and raw materials at both a strategic level and in practice, including implementation projects.
You are additionally knowledgeable on the best way to market our services in cooperation with account management. For you, keeping abreast of new developments and translating them into specific, practical recommendations is the most natural thing in the world. You have concrete ideas for taking on the stated goal of transitioning 'from waste to resource', in which you demonstrate an understanding of managerial relations and the current economic context.
We are in search of enthusiastic candidates who are dedicated to collaborating professionally with both clients and colleagues. Do you have the substantive expertise and experience required, along with a generous portion of enthusiasm? Are you eager to work for an international organization that is committed to the realization of a better world through commercially-oriented means, and do you meet the mandatory requirements listed below? If so, we look forward to meeting you!
