UI Developer

We are excited to be working with this highly reputable full service digital commerce agency who are undergoing a surge of growth in their dynamic business, which means they are looking for an experienced UI Developer to help expand their core user interface product by building enjoyable ecommerce experiences. You will be working alongside other talented UI Developers, UI/UX Architects and QA Engineers who's aim is to create large scale, responsive websites for all devices and browsers. You should have hands on responsive development experience in an eCommerce environment with a keen understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Object-oriented JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various teams to ensure the UI meets business requirements, delivers superior site performance and provides an optimal experience for millions consumers.
• Develop standards compliant and well formatted CSS, Javascript and HTML
• Contribute and shape our NA and NA capabilities
• Stay ahead of the curve on front end technology and development trends in the industry
• Working with maintainable and scalable CSS, for example OOCSS & BEM
• Working with Modular Javascript frameworks such as NA, Browserify, webpack etc.

Minimum Requirements:
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of eCommerce Development experience with hands on responsive development experience in an enterprise-level eCommerce environment
• Strong understanding and application of Object-oriented JavaScript
• HTML and CSS Best Practices and Standards
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated project management and organization skills.
• Pro-active and self-motivated mindset; detail oriented.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player with a positive outlook and "can-do" attitude.
