Field Service Engineer (Forklifts/Technician/Mechanical)

Cambridge / Ipswich / Norwich / Peterborough

Monday - Friday 8am-4pm

Field service engineer position available in a national company offering excellent full product training. This is a great move for applicants with engines experience looking for a local service role repairing a fleet of forklifts.

To apply for the role you must have engines experience -marine engineers, aircraft engineers, automotive technicians, HGV, mobile plant, agricultural, forklift or ex forces military vehicle engineers are all encouraged to apply. You also need some electrical knowledge, further training will be given on this if needed.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of materials handling machinery and associated equipment in Cambridge / Ipswich / Norwich / Peterborough.

The company recruit engineers with transferable skills and train you on the product. The company have continued to grow by offering an excellent service, they don't cut corners have an excellent reputation in the industry.

The Role:

*Carry planned maintenance activities on materials handling machinery

*Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area

*Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment

The Person required:

*A qualified mechanical engineer with engine experience

*Full UK driving licence and live in/close to the area

*Willingness to take on comprehensive training programme
