Leap into an exciting career with a market leading company today! We are looking for experienced HGV / LGV Class 2 Drivers to work as Drainage Engineers. At Lanes Group, nothing is more important than the health, safety and welfare of our people and our customers.

It's a major reason why we are the UK's largest independent specialist drainage contractor, with over £130 million turnover and more than 1500 employees across a country wide network of 23 branches. Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for customer focused people to join us in our Utility Division, located in the South East for our Thames-water contract and based at our Crossness depot, Greater London as service Engineers to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems. Working either on your own or as part of a team you will respond to emergency calls from customers who are experiencing problems with their drains and sewers. We anticipate to fix all drainage problems on our first visit and reassure customers, but if further work is required then you may be part of the team that is called upon to quickly follow up with plant and equipment to clean, repair, replace or CCTV for future reference, the affected part of the network.

Previous experience of working within the Waste Drainage industry is desirable but not essential as further induction and comprehensive training will be provided. What is absolutely essential is the ability to work safely to quickly diagnose and deliver practical and efficient solutions to attain the highest levels of customer satisfaction. We operate 24/7 and as such you are required to work flexible hours, weekends and participate in an on call rota. Full training/PPE/use of company equipment will be provided to ensure that all our Service Engineers have the right tools, competency and confidence to undertake the work to Lanes' high standard of operation regardless of background or previous experience, whilst also providing the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications and skills. So if you enjoy delivering only the best in customer service, where no two days are the same and want to join a growing company that not only values you and your ability - but also strives to develop your potential and further your career progression, then we are the right Company for you
