Due to continued expansion of our business which has been established since 1977 we are seeking a CNC Turning Programmer/Operator/Setter to join our existing team working a 39 hour week Mon to Fri with regular paid overtime, free parking and holidays rising to 25 per year.

The CNC Turning Programmer/Operator/Setter role offers the opportunity to join our professional team from our site in Camberley. The main duties of the role are as follows:-

To program, set and operate CNC Emco 345II with Siemens control. Harrison Alpha 400 semi CNC and various manual Hardinge machines, HCT & HVLP

Familiarity with OneCNC off line programming software, although training can be given.

Having some CNC milling experience would be an advantage

Willingness to operate/load CNC mills if asked to do so

To work to customer drawings and specifications with the minimum of supervision following training

To work to tight tolerances down to 5 or 10 microns and check your own work

To work on your own initiative and understand the manufacturing processes

Report any tooling required to Supervisor

Programme & prove out programs at the machine ensuring the highest quality is maintained at all times

Fulfil training programs deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development

To take a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks in relation to your own job role and to control the risks or report them to management as appropriate

To have an extensive range of own tools and measuring equipment

Create planning sheets of any new jobs created and store CNC code in the relevant place
