Civil Engineer - Newcastle
We are currently seeking a Degree qualified Civil Engineer, with 2-5 years' experience, to join our Rail team in Newcastle. Proficiency in data management, design packages such as BRT, 12d etc, excel and GIS will be highly regarded. Prior rail experience is preferred but not essential.

  • A demonstrated interest and desire to build a career within civil engineering and rail sectors
  • High level of self-motivation, energy and confidence, but particularly the ability to manage and be part of project teams in a commercial environment
  • A flexible approach to challenges and a proven ability to develop good relationships with internal and external clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Lead and / or contribute to projects in the civil design and asset management disciplines as part of multidisciplinary project teams for our clients
  • Provide effective civil engineering support across a range of projects by adopting collaborative relationships with other internal disciplines
  • Manage tasks for projects from inception through to successful completion within agreed timeframes and budgets
  • Work effectively and harmoniously with all levels of staff and management
  • Prepare high quality proposals, reports, documents and other deliverables for clients
