General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Director, Electronic Warfare Systems Programs to join our team. The Director, Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) Programs serves as the Customer Facing Executive and Portfolio Manager for programs, products and opportunities for the Space & Intelligence Systems (SIS) line of business of General Dynamics Mission Systems.
Responsible for GDMS program coordination whose goal is to support and harmonize the Business Development effort within GDMS and all efforts externally facing the EWS community. This director supports growth of legacy Programs of Record within GDMS, the business funnel by qualifying leads, and to transition those leads into opportunities and into the capture phase, supporting SIS on new programs and/or product sale orders. The Director Electronic Warfare Systems Programs is expected to cross functionally support the other services and functional account managers (SOC, Army, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, Joint, Intel, and International). Further the Director, Electronic Warfare Systems will represent GDMS in outside teaming discussions with potential partners on Cyber opportunities.
As the Service Account Lead manages & Intelligence Systems in planning and executing strategy and business development. Represent the company to the EWS community and matches requirements to GDMS capabilities. Works with Line of Business VP/GM's and BD VP/Directors, business area leaders/internal business development, capture and sales teams ,and SBD organization to identify business opportunities and determine pursuit strategies. Support strategy and proposal color teams on specific contract pursuits. Collaborate with other Customer Facing Executive account directors to optimize cross-service opportunities. Develop relationships; enhance teaming efforts with other companies for potential contracts. Identify and bring forward for review new or strategic opportunities in line with these major priorities: assured communications (systems and products, deployed or in-garrison), cryptography embedded computing/storage for aircraft, multi-level security and secure voice and data products. The Director, Electronic Warfare Systems Programs position requires Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15 years of demonstrated leadership.
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
