This position is an analyst within the ERP Technical Services Team reporting to the ERP Technical Supervisor. The position requires a person that is focused on working with a variety of users, applications and vendors on a daily basis. Gathering information when problems arise and being able to troubleshoot an issue to get a resolution of the problem. This person must be able to manage multiple concurrent efforts and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing technical support for vended and custom applications both on premise and in the cloud
  • Working to understand the business processes and context surrounding the applications and needed changes to gauge their impact
  • Effectively engaging with the application software providers to ensure maintenance of the application is performed as required
  • Planning and implementation of application upgrades and maintenance updates, including communication of system changes and outage to the users
  • Working with clients to understand support issues and troubleshoot application issues in a timely manner
  • Strong focus on prioritizing and managing application requests with a direct focus on delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining application stability
  • Working with other IT Shared Services organizations to ensure quality application support and delivery to end users
  • Participating on project teams to ensure proper alignment of IT solutions to the business requirements as well as IT policies and procedures
  • Understanding the IT Audit and Security requirements of ConocoPhillips and ensuring compliance

Basic/Required Skills:
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in MIS or Computer Science
  • Demonstrated experience supporting applications
  • 1 years of experience reading, writing and debugging SQL queries
  • 1 years of experience with Unix scripting
  • 1 years of experience supporting Windows application and web servers
