We are working on behalf of a client company to find a Senior Software Engineer. This position allows you to work remotely, but preference is for candidates located in the Northeast. Our client is a legal services company dedicated to creating brilliantly engineered applications which help law firms and businesses leverage the power of our software. Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, test and implement web applications. Mobilize and manage a team of highly motivated developers and deliver web applications. Lead by example and implement best engineering practices and construct robust architecture. Mentor junior Software Engineers. Provide on call support to web services and applications in production. The successful candidate for this role should have strong logic and analytical skills and a desire to understand the next generation of web technology. Interested developers must have a strong background in application development and excellent knowledge of application programming environments. Required Skills:Proven experience in scaling applications and systems infrastructure to meet demanding client requirements and NA success in maintaining and enhancing process in a growing organization (source code control, release and patch management, etc.)Assures appropriate levels of due diligence and data gathering occur to allow for full validation of information and assumptions used in solution and proposal development. Working experience with Scrum methodology and Agile development NA in mobilizing and managing a team and providing one on one coaching and leadership to other team NA be hands-on and lead by example. Active project involvement and participation, the ability to teach and lead others, all within the framework of a fast-moving, lean organization is critical to success in this role and to fit within cultural environment of the NA fundamentals with the ability to understand industry directions towards convergence and how it applies to application NA ability to debug various types of code and a strong desire to learn and apply new NA record of effective leadership and change management: emotionally intelligent, business-minded, optimistic, visionary and results-oriented.
