Develop and implement grain merchandizing programs including; sales and hedging contracts, margins, bids and open grain positions. Establish and communicate storage and drying rates and basic contracts. Determine daily bids, select best bid and monitor competitive bids. Assist with the development and implementation of grain origination marketing plans. Communicate and coordinate with elevator operators to ensure quantity and quality of inventories to meet merchandizing goals. Maintain daily position and other grain related records. Ensure regulatory compliance. Knowledge of cooperative philosophies and principles. Strong leadership, negotiation, customer service and communication skills. Requirements A diploma or degree in Agriculture Economics, Marketing or Agri-Business or the equivalent of 3 or more years' experience in agricultural marketing.
