An ambitious and forward thinking senior structural engineer is sought to join the London office of this progressive consulting engineering firm. Ideally you will be Chartered or nearing this status. This post is a key position to be based in the London office based in WC2. You will be involved in hands on design, liaising with clients and architects, running projects and promoting the services of the firm. The company is a well established firm with around 50 staff. They work on a variety of buildings schemes such as commercial, high end residential, special structures, light industrial, new builds, refurbs, basements. Projects range from £1m up to £100m and the firm is up to date with new technology, software and BIM.
London is their newest office and is the growth focus for the firm. The firm is financially stable and has been running since 2004. The firm is big enough to provide great projects and an excellent support structure, but small enough to still have that family firm feel and get decisions made when required. You must have several years of buildings design experience in a varied role to be considered for this post. Excellent communication skills are essential. Ideally you will be MIStructE or MICE.
You will be responsible for the successful technical and commercial execution of project work, including hands on design, managing small design teams and resources.
