General Job Description
Performs schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring activities as directed. Leads planning and scheduling activities when delegated.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
The Planning and Scheduling Engineer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Construction Schedules utilizing Primavera. Detailed schedule development duties include establishing the work breakdown structure (WBS), resource loading, determining the work activity duration and establishing the proper work flow logic ties. Routine analysis and work around option planning along with interface coordination with the home office scheduler will be required. Other duties include input to the Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports and issuance of the weekly schedule analysis report. Additional duties include:
Job Related Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration. Verbal and written communication skills to present data and analysis to PC, other groups, Bechtel Mgmt and Client Mgmt.
