Job Summary


*Ensure that once a sale is made that the project is managed effectively, working with the operations team. To ensure that the customers' expectations from the sale are met
*Ensure the project is completed within the committed time scales (including project plans)
*Planning required resources (commissioning Engineers are planned through Service Desk)
*Ensure that the project margins are maintained.(tracking hours and expenses - managing project budget)
*Ensure there is a quality installation provided
*Attend client meetings on site where required
*Support of the sales team
*Minimise exposure and risk on a project
*Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately
*Ensure all work is conducted with full regard to Health and Safety of our customers, staff and subcontractors
*Building strong and long term customer relationships
*Attendance of required rhythm meetings and conference calls
*Understanding of the opposition strategy and keep informed on technology developments within our product areas
*Administration of expenses, holidays and sickness is managed in an efficient and timely manner
*Follow up with clients where necessary on unpaid invoices
*Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely manner

Organisational Relationship

*This position reports to the Managing Director. This position requires a close working relationship with the Product Manager, Technical Manager, Installation Manager, Operations Manager, Regional Field Operations Managers, Sales Team and Finance

*Variation and addition Proposal and Quotation generation
*Operate within a CRM environment

*Specific knowledge of accepted accounting practices and procedures.(basic revenue models, P/l and cost to completion projections)

*Understanding of pricing models
*Excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing at all levels in the organisation
*Skills or experience with personal computers, including:
oemail, personal scheduling, word processing and electronic spreadsheet skills, internet, intranet, and client server architecture
*Client liaison and customer focus
*Able to work under pressure and make important decisions and abide by them
*A broad knowledge of Car Access and People Access products an advantage
*Good administration and co-ordination skills
*Strong personal influencing & communication skills
*Strong motivation to achieve, well organised and structured approach
*Ensure that all activities are conducted within our Health and safety and Environmental policies
*To undertake any work of an appropriate nature as directed by the line manager


*2 Years Project Management
*Good Basics Education to A Level
*Strong on Maths and English
*Basic understanding of IT
