Our Graduate Technical Programme is designed to develop you as an individual, to help you achieve your goals through a combination of training and practical experience. Throughout the programme you will learn about the technical aspects of the CEMEX business and also receive management training. The programme has been developed in conjunction with our readymix concrete business and where training will be primarily focused in that area with exposure to other areas such as Cement, Aggregates and Admixtures.
During the 18-24 month programme you can expect to achieve an in-depth learning of primary construction materials such as concrete, mortar and screed, ready for you to take your career further. Our UK National Technical Centre in Warwickshire will be your hub location, where you will learn about the processes and procedures involved in developing new and innovative products within the laboratory. Through studying our Technical Management Systems, you will also gain knowledge of product specifications and technical support.
As well as hands on experience within the role, you will travel around the business where you will learn and understand the operations on our sites. You may also have the opportunity to be involved in one of CEMEX's major projects. The programme will include regular assessments where your progress will be reviewed.
Throughout the duration of the programme you will have full management training through our established Management Training Programme. You will be assigned your own mentor who will provide support for all aspects of your Professional Development. The qualifications you will gain as part of this programme are industry recognised, such as ICT General Principles and Practical Applications, and Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
To apply for the programme the minimum expectations are as follows:
* Minimum a 2:2 Degree in a relevant discipline
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Have obtained a Full UK Driving Licence before start date as the role will require travelling across the UK
Your starting salary will be £26,000 which will be reviewed annually in line with your performance. In addition to the learning support you can expect the following rewards and benefits:
