Experienced Site Manager required to work with the Project Manager and Senior Site Manager on a £40m new build higher education faculty building and student accommodation block in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.
Reporting to the PM and SSM you will be responsible for managing all site based construction activities, including short-term programming of works, health and safety, review of method statements, risk assessments, call off of materials, logistics, quality control, client liaison, coordination meetings, reporting on progress against program, etc, snagging and handover.
Working within a larger team you will have responsibility for specific packages of work or areas.
About the Company/Client/Project:
The role is with the busy regional office of this national contractor with a £100m annual turnover, and a proven track record in the delivery of medium sized new build and refurbishment schemes from £5m to £25m predominantly in the education, healthcare and commercial sectors.
Requirements including certificates and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, demonstrating excellent technical, organisational, man-management, communication and communication skills. Proven track record of work for a top twenty main contractor advantageous.
Ideally from a trades, construction management or engineering background with a sharp eye for detail and finishes, you will possess strong planning and problem solving ability, with a positive, 'get it right first time` approach.
You will possess your SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications for this role.
