Are you seeking a role which involves pioneering new business with a high quality product in a division of a well established and highly regarded UK manufacturer?
We are retained by a leading Manufacturer of BUILDING PRODUCTS who, due to continued success, are seeking to recruit a professional BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to join their team covering the SOUTH OF ENGLAND.

The Individual
An experienced and enthusiastic sales professional to identify and develop new business opportunities within the UK for our Client's products. The ideal candidate will have experience of promoting products within the Building Industry and have established contacts with Builders Merchants, Architects and Engineers.
Proven track record in delivering sales growth within the construction industry.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Building and developing relationships with key main BUILDERS MERCHANTS, ARCHITECTS and ENGINEERS.
Progressing quotations to a conclusion and providing installation advice and identifying and progressing new project opportunities.
Updating the company database and completing electronic reporting procedures in accordance with the company requirements.
Providing feedback from the market on potential opportunities for product development.

Person Specification
Understanding of Building Industry routines
Sufficient IT skills to interrogate and update the company's electronic database.
Good organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and on their own initiative and to organise and make product presentations to customers as required.
Able to communicate technical information.
Ability to work to deadlines and understand the need to meet targets.
Able to research, recognise and progress project opportunities
Proven track record in promoting products to the Construction Industry within the UK
Proven results through sales growth.
Clean driving licence.

All necessary training in relevant aspects of our Client's business will be provided
