I am actively recruiting for an ambitious and hungry Associate Mechanical Director for a forward thinking multi-disciplinary consultancy currently working on an extremely high profile London project as well as alongside a signature architect on various prestigious overseas assignments.

My client is proud to have delivered world-class projects in more than 30 countries. Established for more than 40 years, they have worked with clients across a wide range of markets, from large mixed use developments, through to one-off private residences.

As an Associate Director you will be responsible for building relationships with clients, developing business opportunities, leading projects and managing a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers. You will have the personality and charisma to hold your own with high end clients, develop and produce reports, specifications and guide and oversee testing and commissioning activities.

As a technically well-rounded engineer you will be able to lead a team, offering the benefit of your experience to encourage and mentor said team. It is vital that you are somebody who has a strong work ethic and motivated to develop not just yourself, but your team and company, taking great satisfaction in achieving targets and becoming a successful and integral part of the company.

With previous consultancy experience, you will be Chartered and have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Qualification. This role will suit a self-motivated and confident individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of exercising commercial judgement together with practical knowledge to deliver positive outcomes. You will be collaborative both externally in design teams and internally with peers, and you will be ambitious and energetic, capable of getting the best out of your team. Although you will lead from the top, you will also benefit from a very supportive network of talented and friendly colleagues.

This is a great opportunity to progress within a company that has been recognised in the industry for delivering first class projects, offering a clear and defined career pathway for those who have been fortunate enough to work for them.

If you are successful in this position you will be rewarded not only by taking satisfaction in achieving great results, but also financially plus various incentives and benefits
