Due to significant growth and recent lucrative contract awards, my client who are a well-established and UK leading HVAC and Facilities Services provider are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to support a number of maintenance works on a number of high profile blue chip contracts throughout the Central belt of Scotland on a full time permanent basis.|
Employed in a field based role, you will be responsible for conducting planned and reactive maintenance works that can include servicing, fault finding, reactive breakdowns and repairs to various makes/models of commercial boilers and gas fired units including water heaters, gas radiant tubes and fan assisted warm air heaters.
•Ideally have served a recognised apprenticeship.
•ACS Commercial Gas qualified
•Have experience working within the FM, HVAC and/or Building Services setting
•Skill levels in all aspects of Commercial gas servicing and maintenance.
•Good problem solving skills.
•Confidence in own ability
•Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care with excellent communication skills.
•Full UK Drivers Licence.
•Undergo relevant Disclosure/CRB checks
•Able to participate on a call rota (average 1 week out of 5 give or take)
Additional qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, etc. are also highly advantageous.
The successful Engineers will have a proven track record of the above requirements (this is essential) and be able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care, good communication skills, a pro-active attitude and the capability to complete essential paperwork. Experience in anticipating and repairing faults will be required.
Successful engineers will benefit from the following:
•Company Vehicle and Fuel Card (option of personal use available)
•30 days holiday rising to 33
•Death in service insurance (4x annual salary)
Basic working hours are 08.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday however where there is a business need these may vary on occasion.
