My client is a well established award winning firm of structural consultants based in Dorking, Surrey (close to mainline station). Though they are small, their workload includes exciting and challenging buildings structures schemes, often of £100m and upwards in build value. Their workload is incredibly varied, from small refurbishments to large mixed use new build developments. They pride themselves on their high quality design ethos, and as they are small there are none of the "big firm politics" and the Directors are hands on designers. |
An opportunity has arisen for a technically strong experienced design engineer with excellent communication skills to join their team. Excellent promotional prospects and possible future Directorship for the right candidate. The office is based within walking distance of Dorking stations and there is also parking available.
You must be experienced in a range of buildings structures and able to run projects and attend meetings. A car owner is preferred for ease of attending meetings. Ideally you will be Chartered or nearing this status. There are excellent career prospects for progression/promotion for the right person. Priority will be given to candidates who live within sensible commuting distance.
