Our client is a well known UK manufacturer of household and office based furniture. Due to a continued rise in business they now require two Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to provide maintenance and servicing support to all machinery whilst rectifying faults.|
Working on a double days shift pattern, you will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical machinery breakdowns along with implementing actions from the continious improvement programme.
Essential skills and attributes:
Ideally apprentice trained with experience of working within a woodworking or machine tool environment
Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley PLC faultfinding and modification experience
Experience of faultfinding Fanuc CNC controls
Good understanding of motor control - inverters and servos
Excellent pneumatic and hydraulic skills
Welding - MIG or Stick
Be able to react quickly and effectively to production issues, enabling them to be resolved in an accurate and timely manner.
'Right first time' attitude
These roles are on a double day shift working week days 7.30am - 4pm and 4pm -12.30am rotating over a weeks cycle. You will be providing quick fire breakdown response 80% of time with 20% changing shafts, bearings, chains and other planned maintenance tasks.
The ideal candidate can expect a salary to £34k inclusive of shift allowance, 31 days holiday, pension, 70% staff discount, childcare assistance and many more company benefits.
This role is commutable from within and around the following areas: Nuneaton, Leicester, Tamworth, Hinckley and Bedworth.
