Electrical Maintenance Engineer - East London - Up to £32k / £16 per hour - Ongoing Contract - Immediate Start - School Contract

I am currently looking for an electrical maintenance engineers to work a large school based in Walthamstow. This is a resident engineer role where you will be required to complete maintenance works on all areas of the building.

The right candidate will be of an electrical biased with knowledge of mechanical and fabric works also, your duties will include -

* Lighting Maintenance
* Emergency light testing
* Electrical fault-finding
* Small works - new sockets, new lights, new circuits
* FCU Maintenance
* VAV Maintenance
* Cooling Systems
* Heating Systems
* Electrical Distribution
* Water Treatment
* Legionella Awareness
* Drainage and Waste

He or She must be comfortable working alone as this is a resident engineer role. You will have the help of a mobile team if required.


You will be paid up to £16 per hour / 32k per year (depending on experience) based over a 40 hour week + Overtime

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm


* Fully Qualified in Electrical Engineer (City & Guilds or NVQ)
* 17th Edition
* Must be able to complete an enhanced DBS check
* Happy to work on a variety of equipment
* Previous experience completing maintenance in commercial properties
* Hard working
* Available to start within short notice
